This position will drive and grow revenue by identifying opportunities, analyzing competition, developing new products and services, applying best business practices, communicating with businesses, generating leads, and supporting sales. This position will be accountable for establishing and enhancing the media company’s brand, and maximizing advertising revenue and improving the organization's competitive position and its penetration of target markets.    Drives revenue by developing and executing effective sales strategies, identifying growth opportunities in the marketplace and setting pricing.  Directs all advertising functions across all platforms and all business development and marketing functions.  Develops strategies to maximize sales resources and optimize revenue development including multi-platform product positioning and pricing for clients of all sizes. Ensures advertising and marketing meets the needs of businesses and enables them to grow their businesses.  Meets with advertisers and potential advertisers regularly and develops strong relationships.
